Wavenet, the UK’s most trusted managed service and security provider, has launched CyberGuard Net360, a new service designed to help businesses gain full visibility, security and control across complex network environments.

The launch comes amid a sharp rise in cyber threats and network failures across the UK. The National Cyber Security Centre recently reported 204 “nationally significant” cyber-incidents in the past year – more than double the previous period1  – while the UK Government’s Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2025 found that 43% of businesses experienced a breach or attack in the last 12 months2. IDC research meanwhile shows that half of UK businesses have lost revenue (or revenue opportunity) from network downtime or poor performance, highlighting the growing need for visibility, continuity and resilience3.

Part of Wavenet’s CyberGuard portfolio, CyberGuard Net360 brings together advanced network visibility, zero trust networking and network detection and response (NDR) into one powerful, integrated and intelligence-driven solution. Its core function addresses one of the biggest challenges facing IT leaders today: how to turn sprawling networks from a potential weakness into a frontline of defence.

“Without full visibility, networks are at risk of blind spots, outages and breaches. Many large organisations do of course have already basic monitoring and management capability in place; but what they struggle with is forensically seeing what’s happening network-wide and how to keep it secure. CyberGuard Net360 provides a smarter, more agile way to view, protect and optimise their networks, helping businesses see more, trust more and secure more.”

- Paul Colwell, Chief Information Security Officer at Wavenet CyberGuard.

CyberGuard Net360 is built around three core capabilities:

1.    Network visibility: deep visibility and control over complex network infrastructures to eliminate blind spots, reduce outages and lower operational costs.
2.    Zero trust network: a ‘never trust, always verify’ model, using network segmentation and continuous validation to prevent lateral movement and strengthen defences.
3.    Network detection & response (NDR): monitoring and analysis of network traffic in real time to detect suspicious activity, reduce dwell time and mitigate the impact of cyber attacks.

Wavenet’s new service harnesses disparate technology from industry-leading vendors including  Gigamon, NetBrain, Kentik, and Darktrace. Combined within a single managed service, it will enable IT teams to access one coherent security and performance layer, delivering fewer network outages, faster incident resolution and reduced cyber risk.

As networks become increasingly distributed, spanning cloud, on-premises and remote users, many businesses lack the unified visibility required to manage risk. CyberGuard Net360 provides a consolidated lens across the entire network, helping IT teams proactively detect threats, manage performance and optimise data flow.

“With more than 200 major attacks recorded in the UK last year alone, and outages costing millions, visibility is now business critical,” adds Colwell. “CyberGuard Net360 helps customers cut through the noise, pinpoint risks and act fast, all within a zero-trust framework.”

CyberGuard Net360 extends Wavenet’s growing cyber security and managed services portfolio, which includes penetration testing, managed detection and response, incident response and vCISO consultancy.
