At Connected, we’re committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in flexible workspace, real estate technology, and human-centred design. That’s why we were thrilled to host the REaaS (Real Estate as a Service) Tribe at this year’s CREAM UK landmark event for the commercial real estate (CRE) industry that continues to drive meaningful conversations around the future of workspaces.

This year’s session focused on one of the most urgent and exciting challenges in our industry:
Beyond adopting a hospitality mindset, how can operators truly work differently to place customer and user experience at the heart of everything they do?

A panel of visionaries shaping the future

The session was expertly moderated by our own Lee Zweig, Director of Business Development at Connected. Lee was joined by an exceptional panel of thought leaders and changemakers, including:

  • Isabel Thomas - Head of Offices & Residential - Shaftesbury Capital PLC
  • Louise Ioannou - Head of Workspace UK | Leasing - HB Reavis
  • Natasha Guerra - CEO at Runway East - Runway East
  • David Kaiser - Co-Founder of Oneder - Chief Executive Officer
  • Chris Boultwood - Head Of Technology - Workspace Group

Together, they brought diverse perspectives and real-world experience to a rich discussion that explored how commercial real estate can be reimagined through the lens of workspace as a service. Topics ranged from digital infrastructure and flexible workspace design, to operational innovation that better supports the evolving needs of occupiers and workspace users.

Why CREAM UK is more important than ever

As hybrid work models continue to reshape the office landscape, the demand for flexible user-first environments is growing rapidly. Events like CREAM UK create vital spaces for collaboration, industry development, and cross-sector dialogue. They allow workspace operators, landlords, technology providers, and occupiers to connect and co-create the next generation of workspaces.

The journey doesn’t stop here

We extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined the session and contributed to this important conversation. The momentum we’re building is just the beginning.

At Connected, we believe the future of commercial real estate lies in connection, collaboration, and customer-first innovation, and we’re proud to be leading the way.
