About Robert Kett Primary School

 

Robert Kett is a three-form entry Primary School based in Wymondham, Norfolk. Currently, they have over 600 children on roll at the school-aged 4 to 11 years.

 

In September 2021, they end their transition from junior to primary school. With a large, committed team of staff to cater for the needs of all children and an amazing, well-resourced site that boasts cookery, music and forest school Robert Kett is very proud of the achievements their children make, both academically, in sports, music and all aspects of school life.

Everyone at the school is committed to creating a safe, secure and caring environment that enables every child to learn and grow, to achieve their very best in all they do.

 

The Challenge

 

The incumbent ISDN solution was proving problematic for the team at Robert Kett. Due to its age, it was impossible to add any additional extensions to the system, something which the team very much needed in order for them to deliver a more modernised learning experience.

The team wanted to make telephony available in all of the classroom areas and to allow for ease of future expansion as the school continues to grow.

It was also essential that the system was user friendly and combined mobile applications so that staff members who were working away from the school or not based in the staffroom could be easily contactable and that they were able to work efficiently and effectively.


The Solution

 

After discussing their needs with Wavenet a combination of SIP Trunks, IPCortex and Keevio mobile application was chosen as the perfect solution for Robert Kett Primary School.
