When Route One's current offices were closing, they decided it was the perfect opportunity to improve their Internet speeds. Their incumbent solution was causing frustrations with the team due to poor connectivity and slow speeds making it difficult to complete daily tasks.
Moving offices brought its own challenges as the team needed a new system, porting of existing numbers and a reliable and high-speed Internet connection. With the pandemic changing how the team worked, the need for remote and hybrid-working was also something that needed to be addressed.
Wavenet were able to provide a solution that would address Route One's business needs, but also one that could be rapidly deployed into their new premises meaning they would not be left without connectivity and most importantly, their customers would still be able to contact them.
Wavenet Hosted Voice was the solution of choice, providing Route One with an advanced cloud-based telephony system that allowed them to work from anywhere.
With WHV the team can easily administer the system and calls can simply be rerouted should the need arise, this can be to colleagues mobiles, different desk phones or even through laptops, giving the whole team the flexibility to work from wherever they choose and bolsters their business continuity.
Alongside this telephony solution, FTTP was installed to provide the team with a robust connectivity solution that would take full advantage of the high-speed connectivity that full-fibre has to offer.
Through our work together Route One has been able to take advantage of the following benefits:
Savings: Both in cost and time have been experienced by Route One since the new solution has been implemented. With a dedicated account manager and one point of contact, making changes or getting support is quick and easy.
Remote working capabilities: Remote working is now a viable option for all at Route One, providing them with the necessary business continuity throughout the pandemic.
Reliability: With unrivalled connectivity and robust SLA's, Route One have a reliable solution to support their business now and in the future.
Usability: With no complicated tech or onsite engineer visits, Route One has a simple to use and easily scalable solution.
“When we contacted our account manager and explained that we were moving premises with very little notice they were immediately on hand to help with the transition. We discussed everything that we needed and our account manager came to the new offices to double-check that everything would work. He also arranged for porting of our numbers and the onsite engineer visits, leaving us to focus on our customers.”- Jason Smith, Operations Director, Forward One Routing Limited.
